Once we were done, we got our feet wet and washed the grime off. There were a ton of little bluegills swimming around and lots of lilly pads and lake gunk. (I hate the feeling of slimey lake gunk). My sister just happened to have a pair of water shoes by the door that just happened to be my size!
We were sitting on the dock and noticed movement on the sand...Frogs!! I love frogs! One of them was quite proficient at 'not moving a muscle' because I was able to get my iPhone within inches of him.
I tried to touch him, but that was just too much, he hopped off into the water.
We were planning to stay a few days, but with temps in the mid 90s and only cooling to mid 80s at night and high humidity...well, all I can say is, 'I'm a weenie!'

The next time we go, l'm taking a net. We need to repopulate Leopard frogs to the inner city.
