I was/am at Peace when...
I was pregnant - each time
my child snuggled in my arms
all of them were getting along
I had the house all to myself
there was quiet
I turned to 99.5 (Classical) in the car with my noisy children and they quieted
I sat in my favorite pew at church and felt God's arms around me
O Holy Night turned out beautifully when Kira and I sang a duet
my children all made it through High School with nothing horrible happening
my children are all doing well
I can divert arguments
all my work is done and I can read a book without feeling guilty
someone really likes my art
I am out in my gardens
I am walking in nature
I see a sky full of stars, a pink and orange sunset, a gorgeous sunrise
life is going smoothly
I feel exceptionally alive.
